Our goal is to consolidate and organize information
on HUD's FHA loan program and display it in an
easy format for consumers searching for an FHA
loan. While the information is not guaranteed to be
accurate, nor a full listing of all available programs,
we strive to keep it up to date and highlight what
we believe to be the best options for consumers.
The site was created in 2007 by two FHA loan
originators frustrated by the growth of subprime
mortgage loan programs, when many consumers
would have qualified for an FHA alternative.
Shortly afterwards, the subprime market collapsed
(we take no credit for this :). Fortunately, for the
most part, the inferior loan programs offered by
subprime lenders are no longer marketed to
consumers. Unfortunately, there are a lot of
homeowners still struggling with those loans.
FHA and HUD have increased their loan offerings in
an effort to help those homeowners, and our hope
is that we can help those consumers find out about
the programs available to them.
